Immigration Law

Historically, immigrants from all over the world have come to the United States to find a better life for themselves and their children. However, it is becoming increasingly difficult to migrate and settle in this country. A Law office of Akhtar & Associates is dedicated to make this process easier for its clients. We have assisted large corporations, one-man businesses and individuals from all over the world. We represent clients before many government agencies such as the newly created U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), Department of Labor, Department of State and the Executive Office for Immigration Review (Immigration Court). The old Immigration and Naturalization Service has been split into three separate branches: Immigration benefit applications and petitions are now processed by United States Citizenship and Immigration Services; Interior enforcement is handled by Immigration and Customs Enforcement; all land border, airport and sea inspections are conducted by Customs and Border Protection.
